What is the legal width for a spoiler on the roof? Does it have to stay inline with the roof or can it be as wide as the arches? My spoiler(sierra boot) was 146cm wide but the roof was only 110cm wide. In the Haines manual it says the car is 153cm wide but the cop said the spoiler was wider than the car? Was it legal or not? He charged me with a Dangerous Accessory, dickhead!

Ian lop the ends off and fit some oval aluminium plates F2 style. I think this would look good on your car.
