Does anybody have any ideas how i can time my engine up without a cam belt cover.Cheers
An arrow on the crank sprocket points to a cutout in the oil pump housing
The cam sprocket mark points up vertical

put a screwdriver down the plug hole
or as Adam said, if you undo the bolt retaining the crankshaft pulley it exposes the cambelt sprocket which has an arrow on it. This will point down to a cutout in the casting in the oil pump. That is TDC.
