Ive found the cage i want and now im saving up to buy it. but i can get two types of metal CDS and T45. I know the T45 is ment to be lighter and abit stonger, but the CDS cage is £540 and the T45 is £798. Now i want to know is would you spend the extra on the T45 or is the CDS still just as good for what i want

the finished strength of the cage will be basically the same therefore the only gain is the weight difference.

I'll hopefully be sorting a group buy for cages in the new year from my place (Custom Cages) if you can hold off for a bit?

Custom cages is where we put the impreza rally car to get a cage in it. Got to say it is really good quality.

Thought it might be lol

The harness bar is the rear strut brace, it's more for the harnesses than it is a brace.

BTW, the CDS kit is actually lighter as the T45 one wasn't homologated seperately so requires thicker wall tube for the hoop, a bars and screen bar :)

I USED TO WORK AT TESCO....
i hate that sodding saying the customers always used to say it to u cpoying the advert thinking they were original.

ut reply to ur question go for the lighter rollcage, u may regret buying it. plus u can say this nice bits of tube inside my vehicle are worth more then the ca :D

sturge i was talking to Bigs about the cage's from where you work and we were thinking of waiting till jan/feb time and ordering 2cages from you at the same time (astra mk3 and nova)

are you able to give any rough prices on any extra additions to the cage?

thinking individual harness bars on the X
dash bar

there was another one or two but hard to explain lol
