Which Fuel Tank??

Evening/Morning,

Not sure which fuel tank would be needed to run bike carbs on my xe?! at the moment, its a gte injection tank, is this suitable?

I believe it'll be fine, but it's late and i'm having a blonde monent trying to think of everything i'd need to get and do etc etc etc

that will do, but you will need to remove the external pump, as the carb pump will not be powerful enough to suck fuel through it.

What did your mate do with his carb set up?

is was an Sri so he used the same setup putting the bike pump in the bay, he sold the car and the carbs went with it.

Yea he could do that, but why dont you sell the gte tank as they go for a bit of money. and buy a carb tank as you can get them cheep and make abit of money?

i have 2 gte tanks atm... I'd probably keep the gte tank on the car incase i ever went to TB's etc or standard injection.

Its just a thought atm, so looking at the options and costs

id just stick with your injection tank tbh, as you say what if you decide to change engines again ?

although i cant believe the prices people pay for GTE tanks

i have all my gte conversion parts sitting in the garage for sale :) tank, pump, servo, mc, engine, F13CR box... I need it all gone!

Think ebay is the answer
