ECU Fault Codes HELP!!!

I run an ecu fault test and i got fault codes
31 Crankshaft sensor no signal
93 Hall effect switch Low Voltage

The car runs but i have a coil pack c20xe not a dizzy and i thought the hall effect switch was in a dizzy. can anybody please help and explain this to me!

I took out the battery to clear the codes and i turned the igniion back on and before i had even started t there ecu light was already one :s kinda confused about this.

I had the same problems....

Mine was a dizzy though! Hall effect is inside the dizzy, and the ecu will always flash up faults for crank sensor until it runs ;) How long did you leave it? I think i left mine for 30mins or so... played it safe lol

i left mine for twently when i was looking for where the hall effect sensor was, but is it the camshaft sensor? becase there is a camshaft sensor on the coil pack engine, but bbig nousense to the crankshaft sensor! im gunna take the entire ecu out the car and leave it out for a whiloe

is this the first time you've run the car? Or has it been fine and these have now appeared?
