Please Help!!!

I have put 1.4sr motor is my car and am missing the wiring for the coil, dizzy and ignition module.

I was wondering if somebody else with a 1.4sr would be able to look which wires go to which pins on the 3 connectors so i could wire it up myself.

The ignition module has 6 wires going to it, the dizzy has 2 wires and so does the coil.

Can anybody help me with this please????

Just had a look and couldnt find the loom in my shed so cant help today, maybe tomorrow if i remember.

pin 5 on the ignition modual is black/yellow and goes to + on the dizzy
pin 6 on the ignition modual is blue/green and goes to - on the dizzy

dont ask me which is the + and - and the haynes doesnt say

the black wire ( positive) on the coil also goes to pin 4 on the ignition modual
the green wire on the coil does to your rev counter and pin 1 of the ignition modual
pin 2 is brown wire and the earth

pin 3!!! not at all sure. from the picture i would say its connected to the shielding of the wires for the dizzy. so leave that disconnected and try it

got a spark now but it only sparks when i stop turning the car over.any ideas anyone

the two wires to the dizzy. did you try these both ways round?

it is being fitted into a 1L shell with 1L wiring ?

in that case dont use the original coil feed. run a new switched live from the ignition switch as the original has a resistor or something in it

sorted.got the car running, now got major problem, i forgot to put bolt in bottom pulley.cam belt cam off and i have bent valves.looks lime im busy over christmas.lol

are you sure youve bent the valves as they arent intenference engines. try putting the belt back on properly and turning it over by hand first

i have done mate.i took the rocker cover off and it had snapped 4 rockers.i put a full set in from another head i have and i cant turn it over by hand cos its to stiff.
