Hi Everybody,

Is it possible to replace the glass in the front two wind down windows, and still be able to wind them down. Or are sliders the only way to put polycarbs in the front?

Cheers

I know the standard glass is shaped as it has a slight curve to it. The polycard would probably bend, but I think it will put pressure on the winder mechanism and could weaken the polycarb.

Just my opinion thouhg, could work fine! trial and error I suppose!

It's just i have a big piece of polycarbonate, and it's too small to go into the back window and too small to make two full front polycarb windows, but just about the right size to make two windows to go into the sliders.

Winding polycarb up and down would scratch it to buggery in seconds.

Good point, so i guess it's either full or glass.

Yes they get scratched but I know a lot of people do it that way on Escorts so they can have a window fully open rather than a 3" gap lol
