Theyre only rare in the fact that L reg novas were the last ever novas to be registered, they were either in storage compounds awaiting being sold or the showroom models which werent registered until late 93, hence being on an L reg!

If theyre worth saving then thats not an overly bad price especially as he says he will return your brass but is he good for the offer though?

aye hes good for it. hes local and the private reg is the name of the town so prob be worth more than the 500 if he did mess me about even though i dont think he will.

Get them mate :)

I don't think there that rare to be honest, used to be one or 2 ran about my way a few years back

The vans seem to run a wee bit longer in production I think as they had 51 reg Escort vans out

Nah, they all ended production at the same time its just some were registered late on therefore being L reg ones, i know what you mean as you often see facelift mk5 (iirc) escort vans lol

I thought van production went on longer than car production until Vauxhall were ready with the Corsa van - I think BT had a load of M plate vans.

That's just it though, a few years back. Most are dead now. As said though, they aren't special etc. just hard to come by these days. They're only the last few that didn't sell straight away when people were buying the new Corsa.

Can pick an Escort van up on an 02 lol Still rock the golden arches too :thumb:
