right its not a nova but an astra ive had this problem with it for nearly two years an i carnt get it soted but its now doing my had in its got the nova sri engine in the problem ive got is it really slow the power feels flat until about 3000rpm even then its lame any ideas what it could be ive tryed fuel pump, tps sensor, injectors, coil pack, ht leads, plugs, an ive even stripped and rebuilt the entire engine but still no difference any help appreciated.

Cambelt tooth or 2 out?
I've seen one where the woodruff key in the bottom pulley had worn, causing the gear to slip round the crank ant higher rpm.

Is it an astra that has the same factory fitted engine as a nova sri, or is it an astra that has had a nova sri engine fitted into it?

ps what about the odd full stop in your sentence construction?

did you replace the cam when you rebuilt it? could be really worn.
