Well not tonight. As said the missus is out so i have her sitting room filled with Calibra Shaped dead Cow parts that I'm cleaning. Buddy likes it as well as he sniffed it, licked his balls, and went to sleep. Easy to see he's impressed.

:eek: I just noticed that too. A real shame IMO. His build thread was a great guide, good pics etc. I think he has more fun with building the car, and i think he has gone as far as he wanted, hence breaking it up. Got a FS ad and seem to have prov. sold alot already!!

This ones a lot more solid, starts and drives. As for the Brown one, I've sourced all the body work it needs incl widened Arches and a RWD floor pan. Mechanicially theres a long way to go but it'll be worth watching. Who knows, I may even wind up liking it when its done.

No they all came FWD mate, but the floors coming from a donor car. I dont really want to give away anymore details incase it doesnt work and I look like a cock, but it should be ok and work well. Got a good chap on hand to help with the conversion so all going well it'll be done before the summers gone.

aye. stripped the nova, bought a manta box and prop, bought a saab turbo engine, and bought an xe rebuild kit, helped plan a pvs stand, joined 6 other clubs, and annoyed mig lol

To look at them the boxes appear different but "Bob" off Totalopel has diagrams of the engine from the Saab and an F20 and they're a match. I was offered a Saab 900 T as a swap for my Corsa, but when I went to view it, it turned out to be a heap so I kept the Nova.

both lumps map excellently, and the software is free. 270 from the 2.0 with a remap. its nothing to do with gm, its pure saab. your thinking of the z20net joint development lump....

after 1993 the engine uses the gm bolt pattern. a viggen clutch is good for 300bhp, and fits

Sloth, the Saab engine couldnt gain 85BHP from a Map alone? And as for the Saab, it was rotten, rettley and generally poor whereas my Corsa (not Nova as written) has just had 2 years test and a decent spec and so worth possibly twice the value of the Saab. When you doing a WIP?
yep stage 3 is cone filter de cat and map = 270. easy. the std map is poo. really watered down. ahhh if it was dead ok. was it turbo? wip on here or t.o?
It was a Turbo but I really didnt like it, it just felt soft and not agressive enough. I'd wieghed the power and performance against a GSi Cav and thought it'd be great but it was just poor. I've seen another one advertised for €800 which is tempting but I need to do a bit more research on the Remapping. As for a WIP, either site but there are a few more Manta heads on TO.
Also, its a Mk1 Cav yeah? is it a 2dr saloon or Coupe?

the mapping software is called t5 suite, and its free. now, you do know its piss easy to put into a cav or cally or astra..... i know of a saab cally and a saab cav mk3 4x4!
