Thing is i would, but i'd get bored, sat all day at a computer, i gota take stuff apart and try and fix it, i enjoy a challenge!

I deal with all the administration for distribution of wines, spirits and beer around the country for a big distribution company.
Printing pick sheets - making sure they are picked correctly, generating delivery notes, dealing with problems from other depot's around the country (glasgow are the biggest pain in the arse followed closely by Huyton in Liverpool) and generating reports on picker activity (or the lack of) for the management... stuff like that. Bit boring - but pays very well for the sort of job it is.

As for why do i not get into trouble for being online... I am too good at my job for them to sack me...
It takes about 4 weeks to get someone trained so they can do my job properly - and after that they are still nowhere near the speed, accuracy or knowlege i have of the job because i ave been doing it for almost three years.
I also turn up an hour late most days and they can't say anything because I always stay later than my contracted 10 hour day if i have to (which i usually do) and the work is always finished before i go home... so what can they do?
Me arriving late and playing on the internet doesn't in any way affect my work - because if i go online i just work faster to catch up the time later on... so nobody says anything.

Sooner or later the internet will be removed at work though - lng story but a new company has taken over and we will not be allowed access once all their changes take effect, but I don't think anything will change until after the new year at least... I hope not anyway. :D
