does your car have a cat? if so it's a c12nz (Injection)
If you have an engine management light it's injection, a choke and its carb.

Iirc all water pumps are the same for 1.2s anyway.

the easiest way imo is how many screws the airbox is held on with. 3 for carb and 2 for TB.

as john said all the pumps are the same tho

it has no cat. carb and manual chokeand 3 screws 2 hold on the airbox

Do 1200 carbs not run square tooth belts though?

If so the pumps are different

Both my engines, carb and spi had round tooth.

Cool then. Maybe it was a very late carb engine.

As im pretty sure some of the mk1 1.2's had square tooth. Maybe wrong though.

i think if the top of the cambelt cover is round then the teeth on the belt will be square but if it is flat then it will have round teeth, pretty sure that is the case
