Just got a Nova for my 18th ! Mint ! 1 owner .... only 2450 miles in first year shown on service record ! Well chuffed !
2 initial questions ...... Fitting a ciggarette lighter for phone etc and wiring speakers in the best way ....

firstly welcome to png.

fitting a ciggarette lighter is pretty straight forward. take a live from somewere i took mine from my clock before because it already has a fuse in it. then you can earth it to the body.

for the speakers its all down to were you place them really, is is a mk1 or 2?

1989 is a mk1.

To fit a ciggy lighter get the proper one from a scrapyard/breakers/our for sale section, then remove the center of the dash according to how haynes tells you to. if you dont have one then pull the center vents out with pliers and undo the screws behind them, open and pull out the ashtray and undo the screws that it was hiding. The front panel should now pull away hiding lots of loom, the air duct etc...

one of the plugs in that loom is the one for the ciggy lighter, i think it had a green wire but i could be wrong on that last fact.

Initial plans are practical ones .... charging phone and loud music ! Car needs no work mechanically or bodily is in A* condition ....

quite big, open it in paint, shoudl be massive and press ctrl and W and it will bring up a box, pu something like 50 in both the top boxes and hit enter, should half the size, then save it and now use imageshakc for a quick upload, shoudl take about a minute in total lol
