main thing i would think is to make sure you insulate live well when running it through and use you average earth strap/lead and get a good conection to the boot floor, a batt tray can be made or bought have a gander on the bay

AES is a good place to get the parts from, order up the battery terminals, cable and a battery terminal relocation box:

Easily done. I used a jump lead when i did mine with the correct terminals on it ofc

theres a huge safety issue here thats often over looked when re-positioning batteries.
do you actually appreciate how much energy is stored in a battery? have you thought about fuseable links or what may happen when involved in an accident?

Make sure the wire is up to the job, stick a nice big fat earth on it, dont run a tiny thing. Make sure its secure and not going to make any trips through the windscreen.

Its also worth boxing the battery, in accident the last thing you want is it to split and spill all over the inside of the car and you!
