whats the biggest size cams i could fit my xe16 with standard pistons??
lift?
duration?
264's, hardly worth the expense for the gain tbh

i was thinking about getting them reprofiled by autosprint 165pounds..are they any good??
Well il post later two vids of someone that has a manzel inlet and 268 cams so you can see what its like. VERY LUMPY!
There regrinds, so not great.
To get big gains you need higher duration/lift, but that means deeper piston pockets.
Whats the engine spec?

why dont you just get your pistons pocketed? cost £40 to have mine deepened by 2mm

engine is xe16 with xe14 head r1 carbs and megajolt?
Pocketed pistons and decent cams would help a lot on carbs.

You'll be suprised when you get bills for a few hundred quid just to set the carbs up then, and then a few more hundred to map the ecu........

i can set the carbs myself but just lookin for info to get me started
unless you own your own rolling road, then you wont be able to jet/map properly imo.
SBD used to pocket stock pistons 2mm deeper and run 200or so bhp with them. so aslong as you can get the pistons off the pins without damaging them you should be fine
i meant proper pistons not the standard ones pocketedwhy tho??
