Youtube- Convert to MP3 and save to my Computer

As the title really.

Any info, I cant download any of them FLV to MP3 convertors or whatever theyre called.

Got about 10 tunes I want from Youtube, cant find them on limewire etc to download, as most of them are white label....

you need to get yourself firefox then download the add on which allows you to download stuff from youtube

The quality will be shat though.

The firefox addon is shockingly unreliable. Use Orbit downloader with Grab++. http://www.orbitdownloader.com/

There's an online converter at http://www.convertdirect.com/ but if you can get a copy of Freez, use that.

It crashed FF twice when I used it, plus Orbit can deal with pretty much any embedded FLV site, which the FF one didnt seem happy about.

You can download either the video in any format or the mp3 in again any format.

Not sure how I did it, but I can record all sound coming from my audio card/port using just the standard Windows recorder thing - saves it as an MP3 - job done.

You just need to hit record and also the play button on youtube at the same time, but you can trim the audio down afterwards.

what i use to download youtube vids is kiss youtube, www.kissyoutube.com (http://www.kissyoutube.com) and then paste in the youtube link, it downloads it as a flash video file (.FLV) then just download a video converter, FLV to MP3 or AVI etc...
