Right i have two images on different layers that are on top of each other i want to 'rub out' some of the top layer so it leaves the base layer. Im using GIMP so i just need a pointer as to what tool and setting to use?

Thanks in advance, Tom :thumb:

make sure you only have the top layer selected, and then once you rub out it should reveal the buttom one? if not then your doing something wrong lol.

When i erase it just leaves white instead of revealing the layer thats underneath.
