I think 5 door hatchback's look nice, other than the fuel cap & the fact there are too many panes of glass along the side.
Also seeing as they arent as desirable as 3 door Novas, quite often the 5 door examples you see are built on a budget that would make a Blue Peter Nova seem elaborate. Avoid cheap & tacky mods & do everything to a high standard, to set it apart from the crowd.
Can regular 3 door sports seats be fitted? Thats my main gripe with std 5 door cars.
im just unsure on the whole 5 doors bits. id love a 3dr but mine is solid underneath and in the engine bay. want some cesaros, lower it -40/60 and a small 3" exhaust. then some cosmetic tidy ups

yup, i had SR seats in my four door SAloon.
and 5 doors are, apparently, the next big thing...
Best of with a decent set of rims, gte or gsi bumpers and spoiler (depending on whether its a mk1 or mk2) and get
it lowered. Most novas don't need anything more to look good IMO

The mk1 is a beauty
is that for meee
thanks,
spec so far:
lowered 60mm all round
gte f/r bumpers, huricane grey
sr grill/spoiler
17's not sure on these yet but clearance is spot on(could even go lower)
4 branch sr system with 21/2"/3" tail
webber 32/34 (not yet fitted)
clear rears
and rare helios blue
:)
get it done, most people will pass on a 5 door, but how many have you seen on the rd recently?
i see more 3 door hatches than anything

definately go 60mm or more on the lowering, the arches take a lot more drop than a hatch to look 'right' imo (depending on wheel size)

It has to be said, most 5-door Novas are modded for the worse.

Its Ben's old one and was stripped years ago, I think even before I sold my original hatchback.
