What's the best way to edit video clips on a PC. I made some videos at Donington yesterday and I've now signed up for a Youtube account, but I need to trim some of the wasted footage off the video clips.
I'm doing the first one with Windows Movie Maker, but its taking 20+mins to 'publish' it. I'm not sure I can be bothered to spend that long on each vid!

The publishing/encoding phase will almost always take time. The Adobe (Premier/Elements), Pinaccle (Studio) and Ulead software will take around the same amount of time.

you can trim the start and end of the videos Oli, as I did wonder why you had so much of your cool down lap after being black flagged.

i trim it as close as possible to reduce the file size, and more so, the upload and publishing speed lol

Agreed. Also Studio Pro if you use a mac-in-toss :thumb:

All i really want to do is trim them down, I don't see why it needs to be 'published' and the format changed
