Morning...
I'm a bit new!
I'm a Nova fanatic but I don't own one at the moment. Currently my main car is however a Nova at heart. It's a Corsa B with a Nova SR 1.4 engine in, bored to a 1.55, ported and polished running twin 40mm DCOE webber carbs, estimated 120-130 bhp.
I tried starting a "projects" thread but it won't let me upload photos until I have made 15 posts?! what's that all about!
I have had a few Novas in the past including a White L-reg GSi 2 years ago, which I miss quite a lot, but the Corsa B I just built is faster, handles equally as well, and is more fun than the old GSi!
Anyway, I am from Lancaster, I'm a nightclub manager and I have very little spare daylight time to have built this, yet I did it in the street outside my house in just a couple of weeks worth of afternoons, on my own!
welcome to png

The car cost me £200
A donor car with the wheels, suspension, a load of things like bucket seats that I am selling, and a decent exhaust on it cost me £100
Engine cost me a LOT but I spent that money 4-5 years ago, so I just had to fit it, which I did right there in the street

Thanks massively to Ste L for the photo links I appreciate that a lot mate :thumb:
I would have loved to have found a Nova for very little money that I could fit that engine into but I searched for months with no success. I was trying to get a Nova van to fit that engine into, but there just weren't any anywhere
For £200 the silver Corsa was a steal so I am happy with it for now at least lol
I actually have a very nice left hooker, white, 1982 Mk1 Golf Cabriolet aswell, which is where my spare money is going to be thrown at before summer comes along.
no problems dude, glad to help :)
corsa looks good for the budget! What g/box is it running?

Right now it has a standard 1400 SR gerbox, whatever code that has, but I have a GSi engine in my garage with an F13 on it... and an f13cr at my parents house... but I haven't spoken to them for 2 years so I 1) doubt it will still be there as they will have chucked out everything I left in that garage (INCLUDING A CAR!!!), and 2) I'd have to break in and physically steal it if it is there still :-(
