i am considering putting cav slabs on my mk1 nova gte, can anyone tell me will these be ok under the arches with 195 45 15's on or will the arches have to be rolled?

Cant see why not. Many Novas on here running Cav slabs. Might need the arches rolled.

i have 195 -40 - 14s on my nova and its lowered 60 mm
it scrubs on both sides jus a tad so i recomend grinding about a mm off and it should be sound mate (y)

Grinding them a mm?? One thats not really worth it and two, it will leave a jagged edge and make the arches rust quicker lol
Heat them up (to stop the paint cracking) and fold the lips. Or get a bodyshop to fold them for you.

friend of mine has cav slabs on a 40mm drop, its close, but good like it is.
i think you'd get scrubbing with your drop of 60.

I had a set of mos on 195/45/15 down 60mm, was fine however that was stipped out. Used to rub slightly under hard cornering
