front bumper bars????

mk1 and mk2.are they the same?just bought a gsi bumper and the bars that bolt on through the front panel have been extended???any ideas?

The mk2 has a flat section in the middle for the num plate cut-out. Dont understand why the bars have been extended though:confused:

did ask the bloke but he said because it was a mk 2 and he extended them for a mk 1????

Maybe he had the bumper further out to look right with the mk1 lights or somthing? You can get standard things cheap anyways.
