Hi all,
Along with my tucked away Nova I have a Cav Sri Redtop which i want to no if its possible and if so how to put the battery and oil pressure gauges from a calibra into! I acquired them from a calibra down that scrapyard.
Any help would be great
Ben
You'll need the gauges, wiring plug that goes into the back of it from the donor calibra, and the oil pressure sender off the back of the engine or buy a new one!
The 4 wires that go into the gauges are (iirc) :-
Black - Switch Ignition
Brown - Earth
Blue/yellow - Pressure sender to gauge
Grey - illumination

on this guys, the grey wire for illumination? that goes to live or a switched live?

its a switched live or they would be illuminated permanently :thumb: i would use a switched live from the headlight switch which can be found at the stereo or switches nearby.
i was thinking that as soon as i wrote it
hmmm time for a brew i think lol
bump for a quick question, can i join the black and grey into the same switch live?
guessing so?

Not unless you want the Backing light on all the time the ignition is.
