1.6 parts on a 1.4

hi people iv got my 1.4 sr and have been told that i could put 1.6 head inlet and exhaust etc on to the 1.4 bottom end and it will make it faster, is there any truth behind this and is it worth doin?

the Cr will drop so thats lost power immediately (you will need to measure the CR and adjust the head skim accordingly)

you will then need to either T40/bike carb the intake side, or kit the engine out with 1.6 sensors (crank, coolant etc) to run the management..... prefereably the sort with lambda feedback otherwise its going to run bastid rich lol.

So yes its worth doing if you think about it, plan etc but to simply slap it on and hope, its not going to work/be worth it
