i created a .gif image (animated image) when i go to upload it as an avatar, it says 'you may not upload animated images.' But i've seen others with gif's on here though :confused:

Instead of uploading the .gif from your pc directly, upload it to a host and then put that link in the URL bit on the avatar selection page.
