I've attempted to remove the engine loom and ecu from my SRI. I basically cut all the wires that belonged to the engine loom and ECU and traced them back but i'm left with the following wires.
From the dial plug i have:
- Dark Blue
- Green/Blue
- Green
- Blue/Yellow
- Blue/White
- Brown/Blue
From the Ignition plug
- Thick Red/Black
From Fuse No1
- Red/Blue
Can anybody tell me what these are and what to do with them?

I did this a good while ago, not pleasant. But I put together a connection list just in case! The list is below, the layout has gone a bit crap on here but hopefully it'll help you out. This is the dispack version btw
A2 Green/Black Pin 1 Crankshaft Position Sensor
A7 Green Pin B Vacuum Sensor
A8 Blue Pin C Throttle Position Sensor
A11 Brown Pin A Vacuum Sensor Pin 1 Coolant Temp Pin
Pin A Intake Temp Sensor
B1 Red Pin C16 Starter Pin 30 Pin 4 Fuel Pump Relay
Test Connector Pin F
B2 Blue/Red Pin 2 Distance Sensor
B3 Green/Red Pin 2 Crankshaft Position Sensor ECU
(ECU Pin B10?)
B6 Brown/Red Pin 6 Fuel Pump Relay
B7 Brown/White Pin G Test Connector
B8 Black/White Pin A Throttle Position Pin C Vacuum Sensor
B10 Brown Pin A12 Ground
B11 Green Lambda Sensor
C1 Brown/Blue ECU Warning Light
C2 Green Tachometer
C4 Black Pin 1 Distance Sensor Pin 2 Fuel Pump Relay
C5 Green Pin C Idle Air Stepper
C6 Green/White Pin D Idle Air Stepper
C8 Blue/Green Pin B Idle Air Stepper
C9 Blue/Black Pin A Idle Air Stepper
C10 Brown/Red Injectors 1 & 2
C11 Brown/Red Injectors 3 & 4
C16 Red ECU Pin B1
D2 Brown Pin B Octane Plug Pin B Throttle Position
D3 Black/Brown Pin B Intake Temp Sensor
D8 Brown/Yellow Pin B Test Connector
D10 Black/Red To Ignition Module
D11 Brown/Blue Pin A Octane Plug

Thanks for that, this is all a bit confusing for me but i'll try and work it out.
I also found this when looking through the articles

This means i have the following to wire up:
- Dark Blue TEMP GAUGE
- Green/Blue OIL WARNING LIGHT
- Green REV COUNTER
- Blue/Yellow OIL PRESSURE GAUGE
- Blue/White BATTERY WARNING LIGHT
- Brown/Blue UNKNOWN?
The 1600 engine loom plugs into the temp sensor & coil etc so is it a case of splicing the above wires i have into that?
I will get some pics tonight

Right i took some pics earlier, they are not the best but they should make things a bit clearer.
This is the part of the loom that will be contained in the bay

Any help/pointers would be appreciated
You've gone a bit further than I did!! I just pulled the injection loom from the rest of the car loom as I was re-looming for the DTA!
The wire colours you have in the last pic are the same that runs to the fuel pump relay. Think the injector feed is that colour too, don't quote me on that though.

Right ok i've been doing a bit of reading up, is it a case of running these wires and splicing them into the 1600 engine loom?
Also what is fuse No1 as i can't find the fuse box cover to tell me
Cheers
Just dug out the Haynes...
Fuse one is fuel pump, so the wire you have in the photo is as I said above, one of the connections to the FP relay.

Ok thanks for the help, i think i have worked it out
I'm going to get some lengths of wire the same colours as i have above so i can extend them and then splice them into the engine loom using a weatherproof connector (i'll remove the existing one on the engine loom)
Hopefully this should do the trick
