hello my good people

i was desparately looking for information on the white SR with snow-plough front bumper on the popular film 'The Transporter' it really is a wonderful example and wondered if there was anyway of tracking it down as it has actually seen Jason Statham in the real flesh and life.

before i rush out and see Transporter 3, i wanted to know if this nova will be featuring in it. as if it isnt, it will be a months worth of pay wasted on a cinema ticket, when this money could be used to feed my starving family.

i the nova in question is at 1hr13mins into the film, i have taken the time to create an image from the dvd for your viewing pleasure.

Not really tbh you see it for about three seconds as they shoot past in the "five"

Its got GTE/GSi wheels as opposed to the slightly different three spokes that the GT came with so im betting its a Nova SR as opposed to a Corsa GT lol

its a corsa A sr/gt.

the euro sr came with GTE wheels, although the gte wasnt invented yet.

LMFAO +rep for Jim!

I noticed that when I saw the movie. Its been mentioned on here before I believe as well, there was a thread a while back about Novas/Corsa A's on TV and in movies. The question arose, why take the 5 when the SR/GT is sat there? As crap as a 1300 nova is, it can't be worse than a poverty spec 5...

Especially when it does the typical french car thing and fails epically just when he needs it the most, a nova wouldnt do that..

Ive had a terminal nova before, dizzy was dead and firing on 2-1/2 - 3 cylinders, head gasket was shot and failed big time and still managed to limp me about twenty odd miles home before dying down the tenfoot about three houses from mine lol

tbh the early five had the old renault sierra code engine, very very bullet proof. they regularly do 250,000 miles. and are excellent turbo'd. man fact for the day.
