Xe thermostat to rad

My brand new part 90006336 (last one in Europe at main dealers) which is supposed to be the one needed for xe thermostsat to rad on the nova doesn't seem to fit very well (looks to be kinking).
Does it need chopping? :thumb:

helped a friend fit an xe into his nova and this pipe was terrible to get a decent fit, we used the standard nova pipe, but had to gradually chop it down bit by bit untill it was a respectable fit. even then it wasnt perfect, but with the jubilee's done up extra tight, it holds the pressure.
