what gear box on a 1.4sr

hi people any body now what gearbox is on a 1.4sr?

orite kl and ive got a slight problem with it when i go over a certain speed i cant get 1st or 2nd when i slow down or stop i have to go into reverse then 1st what would be the cause of that?

edit f10/5 but maybe just needs adjusted at the linkage.

i fort that but wouldnt it do it all the time i.e slow speeds as well its when i go over 40-50mph ish

WTF sr's came with a F10 as did the sri unlike what the common myth states. Only sri I have seen with an F13 box is one that we have fitted.

My old mk2 1.4 sr came with a f13. :confused: Phil are you sure about?

I just never realised that. I thought all MK2 1.4 sr's came with the F13. Thanks for the knowledge :thumb:

but also i should mention i think it was put on at some point in its life, as its got F13 in big white writing on it. but still its naff as its wide ratio lol!
