right, dash swap, do i or dont i?

Heres the score, my mate dave has a black gsi dash for sale, and i have a mint white nova gte with all original interiour but im debating weither to go for a mk2 black dash or not. my mk1 frinds and my bruv say no dont do it, yet the mk2 boys say go for it mk2 dash is much nicer. im undecided, help plz!

you change the dash,you change the rest of the interior, as it will stand out like a sore thumb.full interior change or nothing,if the gte interior you have is mint then imo id be keeping it as it is, original.:)

just ignore them dude, there jelous cause you have a mk1 and they have a mk2:) like i say if your going to change you will have to change literally everything,and you dont see to many "minty standard gte's"now do you.im not saying that the mk1 dash is anything special but original,and thats how it should be:thumb: you strip it out ill buy from you:)

Mk1 dashs fit in with the square faced front end IMO. If that makes sense??!!

MK1 cars often look better, the old SR's are awesome and the standard mk1's look sort of euro cool compared to the washing machine look of standard mk2's, but the dashes should be piled up and burnt lol

Imo mk2 dashes are the best, mk1 novas are better, combine the two and youre onto a winner....

lol, i want to keep my car mint and relatively standard apart from a few subtle modifications that give it that rally look, its either change the dash to a mk2 gsi one or flock my original mk1 dash
