I've just bought an f-plate gte for ?100 from a scrappy. body has had it, discs are warped, but everything else is fine. i am stripping everything and then the scrappy is taking the empty shell back. i can't tell if it is lowered or not. i know the engine is heavier, but the rear end looks low too. how long are the original GTE springs? i can't find it in my Haynes.

well it's certainly lower more than a 15mm difference so i'm hoping its a set of springs which will work well on a smaller engined nova. only time will tell i suppose. cheers
