Hi,

Has anybody brought/ratethese bush sets on the bay please?

I have bought bushes from Floflex before. Seem good and IIRC a few off here have them fitted.

ive heard nothing but bad things about them. very poor fitting and split and fall apart. id stick to powerflex

But dont powerflex only do a limited range?

imo they do everything you need as the spring cup mounts and crap like that just aren't needed

Had a look on the website for powerflex and a limited range is displayed. Rear beam, anti roll bar (both diameters), tie bar mounts, lower arms. No rack rubbers or rear spring plates. Personal preference i guess.

I purchased mine from Rally design, Cheap and seem pretty good.

rally design are really cheap but it says 1.3sr or 1.6 gte would that fit a mk1 saloon

Most parts are the same, lower arms, tie bar mounts etc, so yes they should fit. Roll bars are different diameters, 16mm and 20mm (comes on GTE and GSi).

I don't think it specified when I bought mine (which were of course fitted to a saloon). Will go have a look later on and see if I have a receipt for my order.

Razorjack did you just get tca, tie rod and rear beam bushes.

FloFlex items have possibly THE worst fit EVAR!! Mine were a pig to fit!!

Agreed, my rear beam bushes were shiite.

i wouldnt reccomend flo flex the bushes i got were no where near the right size and they were def for a nova so i was told by them:mad: and the tie bar mounts perished after only a few months. stay clear

Im running these on my track car.
They went on fine still work fine and stiffen up the car no end.
No probs here.
If you have trouble fitting them just apply a bit of lithyum grease as thats all i did and were alot easyer than taking the old feckers out.

I got mine from ralley design.

I got my core suspension bushes from RallyDesign and they're good.

I use Flo-flex bushes for the steering rack (which are ok) and used to have some on the rear shocks (which were too big and had to be cut down!).

So I'd say go for RallyDesign ones and pick and mix any you can't get from there from Flo-flex.
