which turbo would you reccomend for a mildly tuned let, say 350 bhp ish
i dont have a clue about turbos
thanks
id say a gt30 would be fine for that
Depends how you want the power, standard turbo will make 300-320bhp(just) and phase chips/evochips etc
Something like the GTK350 from turbonetics would make 350 bhp easily but you also need a different manifold and ideally better management to get the best from the turbo.
Do you want 350 bhp for any reason, as 300 bhp is cheap to acheive 350+ is more expensive and might not be worth the agro(from experience)

well i have a 200sx tubular manifold and it has a t25 flange on it and i had thought about a gt28 so i didnt haveto change the flange,
300 to 320 bhp is fine but i just want a turbo that can cope with a bit extra power so its not running at its limit all the time but i dont know if the gt28 or t28 is any good??
dont want a massive space consuming laggy turbo if you know what i mean

I would go with the GT28, the right spec of it will be spot on.
gt28 sounds to be best bet
have fun lol :D

Rob Twitchells Astra, engine spec would suit I reckon.

this one sounds like it fits the bill, what do you think?

hard to say without plotting the airflow needed for your engine setup/power knock up some calculations off that website n stick em on the map its quite easy once ya get ya head round it . ive done it lately for a bike application and its quite suppriseing how differnt it can turn out plotting the same data on differnt units maps throughtout the gt28r range
