Temp problem 1.2i saloon

Hi guys,

I have a saloon just a quick question on the temp gauge what temp does the average 1.2i sit at? I'm just worried that the saloon is over heating as its lately sitting at just over 1/2 on the gauge & the fan kicks in at the 3/4.
I thought it might be a faulty gauge as my other 1.2 sits at the 1/4 mark.

a 1/4 is average but just check there is enough water in the bottle when its cold.

imo thats still fine. aslong as it doesnt go into the red your fine

Water level is spot on & im not losing any water, maybe the head gasket has started to go but its not showing any of the signs as yet, No white smoke or water in the oil, I can borrow a temp prob from work what is the ideal temp for the engine to run at. thanks for your help guys.

should run at 92 ish, over 100 is a no-no
