fitted my speedlines today and the centre caps dont fit because they hit the metal cap on the rear hubs? that sits over the centre bolt so i removed the 2 caps.

The last time i had speedlines fitted i ground the end of the drive shaft, dont really want to go down this road again,

Is it safe leaving the caps off on the rear hubs?

Is this a common problem with speedlines?

Thanks lee

I had same problem on rear, luckily I had space between the arches to fit wheel spacers to cure it. I think it only fowled the centre caps by approx 4mm so it made them a little proud and they could be wobbled a bit.

I've run mine like that for the 6-7 years without a problem. Only replaced the rear bearings once in 11 years!!. The caps on the wheels do a good job og keeping the crap out tbh.
