Genuine or other? how much is a genuine vauxhall one? for a 1300 ??
Any ideas?? :idea:

For the amount of hassle it would cause if you had to replace it, I would go for genuine Vaux parts, if you can get trade price the cost difference is pence!
Think you looking at ?15 for vuax, or ?6 for non-genuine
defo go for genuine, i fitted a crap gasket to my 1.6 16v, ran it in for 500miles, then another 300mileslater it was starting to go again.
fitted a vuax gasket, ran it in for 100miles, and iv now done 6k miles reving the fcuk out of it and no signs of it weakening :)

I had a "jap-crap" one fitted under warrenty
It's done 15k miles since but has serious issues, the engine doesn't like stopping.

i got head bolt plus washers stat head set water pump o ring and bolts cam belt and a 1.3 inlet manifold gasket from vaux that was ?65 with discount thing!!
vauxhall head gasket is alot better than the 'cheap' one i put last year!
