So why would it do that? My motorbike pops a flame out when you give it some throttle, then press the kill switch off/on.

Not tried it with the car

anything with a carb can do it. loved doing it in my 1.2. drive along in 2nd and giv it good revs then cut the ignition then two big squirts of the accelerator then wait 2 secs then turn it back on. takes a bit of practice to get it consistebtly cos you look a t!t when it doesnt work. good when driving down a built up steet or unsuspected victims. it echos for miles.

i destroyed a brand new backbox like that. on the plus side, it was then de-baffled!

and as for anything with a carb, they are easy, but why did my golf gti do it with mpi?

clicky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCkgxHKUpBM) and apologies for crap sound, phones aint good!

and i have a host of backfiring vids...

1.2 carbs are the best for it. rev-ign off-2 full squirts of throttle-ign on--BANG.

Mine used to, but it was awful. Keep your foot planted, and VERY quickly flick the ignition off and then on.

Mine used to pop when i stamped on the loud pedal. Every time!

I soon killed it anyway so wasnt really too fussed.

I mullered 3 brand new backboxes when i had the saloon too. Get car in motion, leave in gear, coast with ignition off and still in gear, pump throttle once or twice, then put ignition back on - KABOOM - ****ed backbox

Mine would do it without the aid of turning the ignition off, used to do it at gearchange aswell lol

It may sound odd, but I want you in my Fan club as its blatently obvious that you are epic Cool.

Every car will shoot flames if it has the right system (lack of boxes) on it.

If you wanna be ultimately cool, pour petrol in the exhaust and rev the nuts off it.
