Come on! Tell us what you are tuning FFS?

If you want tips on tuning the kitchen blender, you need the Pontiac V8 forums.

Ebay chips are always a good start IMO. Go faster stripes aswell, but i'm not so sure on these myself.

lol All depends what you a tuning. There are a few guides in the articles section. Have a browse in there first.

Tbh tuning an XE on the std Motronic is almost pointless.

The cost of the parts used will nearly match that required to go to TB's, however most of the parts bought previously will be of no use when the TB's are fitted (mild cams, powercap, chip, filter etc)

I'd put a diff in the box, & spend any other funds on making sure the typically neglected parts are upto scratch.

What zippy said :)

plate diff, decent suspension (NO not £150 coilovers), sort the rubber bushes etc out, good brakes (no they dont need to be huge ass 4pots to be effective), and a well sorted shell will see you point to pointing faster (with less than 150bhp as lets face it XE's are tired unless rebuilt) than a 200bhp Xe in a shagged setup.

if you just want balls out straight lining, then Nitrous is your friend

Personally, Id go out and buy an old ST185 Celica for £900. Job done.

Personally I'd waste the money on something that isnt a waste...
