botton end will be standard
top end will be custom.

tbh if ya going crazy topend wise you need different pistons so the valves dont hit, if ya going for massive cams etc.

am just keeping the engine standard for now, but am guna get the bottom end rebuilts and maybe a custom rebuild of the top with some added uprated cams. buts thats all no, reboring the engine out or that.
its had a brand new 16 valves and head gasket with a brand new pulley

I'd say about £800 For a rebuild with standard parts

Little ends £30
Timing belt kit £70
Water pump £30
Oil pump £70
Head gasket kit £45
Sump gasket kit £25
Head bolts £25

Then a lot of labour also.
