Interior Roof Handles

My Mk2 has only one of these on the passanger side - can i fit all the others on 2? is it easy? (both rear sides and driver side)

Well they must fit them to euro cars on our drivers side.

My SR doesn't have a drivers one, but why do you want one? A "good" driver should have both his/her hands on the steering wheel at all times.

They are a bit of piss to remove and fit, If you need to get one from a scrap. All you need to do is knock the 4 plastic rivets out with a punch, but you will to get some new ones or rip the headlining and try and find them. Once the rivets are out just give the handle a good pull and it should come off. To fit them you just find the two holes behind the roof lining and cut a small to the size need then just pop the handle in the hole and then knock in the plastic rivets.

you can drill the plastic rivets out - saves removing the roof lining.

To refit just use small dowling rods (you can buy plastic or wooden ones from B&Q) - take the grab handle down with you for reference.

There are mountings on all sides front and rear for grab handles - theyre about ?8 each from vauxhall new inc rivets.

I left mine off when I rebuilt my car - actually forgot to put them back on - think it looks better without personally.

I think i will put a post out for them or go down the scrapy! Mind you i havent seen a single Mk2 Nova in a scrapy yet!!
