Non Nova wiper electrical issues

Wonder if anyone can suss this out (I've PM"d Baxter lol) '05 Nissan Terrano - several wiper functions have stopped working today.

It now has no rear wiper, no variable intermittent front, no pull and squirt/wipe and no washer jets front or rear - can't hear the pump.

I checked all of the associated fuses and the relays and all is well with them, I have multimetered the stalk and TBH that has just confused me further lol

It is showing 3 dead pins when I probe it, and I have 4 issues - I did forget to test a pin though lol This isn't really my area :D

I'm looking through the FSM I downloaded a while ago but doesn't say much.

Any ideas?

How much is another stalk? If its cheap go for another stalk. But looking at what your saying id go for the stalk anyways.

Well IIRC the last shape Almeras had the same stalks so I should be able to get from that, or come to think of it the last shape ghey Primeras. I'd say a tenner max for the stalk if I use a decent scrappers - fcuk buying a new one lol

Ah well, fingers crossed I can get somewhere with an N16 Almera stalk. If not time to be concerned lol

LOL Ignore what your head tells you and go by their strange Japanese ways or it will just end in trouble. I was expecting the airbag in my face when i was using the steering column as a ground for the meter lol

Well, had a better look at this today. The relays are clicking in the engine bay for intermittent and rear wipe. So that means stalk/fuses/relays are fine. I rang the main stealers and was told there is no control unit as such, very confused now. I need to get in touch with a mate and get him to stick it on his consult diagnostic machine I think :S
