can anyone tell me what the weight of a gte is with a redtop engine in it and a full interior

i would say 900kgs is a good estimate

Ya sure luke, im fairly certain mikey14SR`s err 1.4SR was 900kg with no interior in the back, all standardish with mk1 SR front seats, so wouldnt an XE with full interior be heavier?

haynes says 834kg for a standard gte,so with the engines swapped and bits and bobs,burgo cant be far off with his prediction,id say around 910-920kg mark:)

take it along to a weigh in bridge there is one at most scrap metal merchants and waste disposal sites then you get the exact weight.

interior's aren't as heavy as you might expect either. its just foam and cardboard after all

With a redtop in, it will weigh approximately the same as the moon :cry:

Realistically I think Burgo is about right tbh
