Oh shi*t me brakes

I was goin down the road the other day n went to touch my brakes n the pedal didnot want to move anywhere, upon putting my foot down more, the pedal seemed to of got past this stage and the started braking as normal, it seems as though i have a sticking pedal, has anyone else ever had this problem?

Check that the air suction pipe from the inlet manifold to the servo is OK. Make sure no-ones shoe /carpet or wotever has got wedged in the mechanism - the pedal operates a tube which comes across to the passenger side footwell and then operates a lever into the master cylinder. If it keeps doing it take it to a garage to be on the safe side.
