Hi all,
Well, as the title explains...
As you have probably seen, Jaguar Land Rover are getting rid of all their contractors. I work for company that's a supplier to JLR and Aston Martin. I was based at Aston, but... I took it upon myself to seek a new job. As of January, I'll be working at Bridgestone Motorsport as a tyre engineer, working in F1 or GP2 :)
So, There's me thinking all is looking rosey... Only to find out that the surgery I had on my shoulder last year didn't quite go to plan and need more surgery asap, and I'm now booked in to have that done next Fri :( Subsequently I'll be in a sling for 5weeks and not able to drive etc, plus I'll have 4weeks with no pay :(
I guess I can't complain as things can always be worse! But nothing ever seems to go as planned...
