Any bonnet is pretty easy to get into.

It stops the oppertunists who are passing and think 'oooh, i can open that, lets see what I can have'

Same as the flag that was swiped at national day. If we had tied it down, i doubt the piss heads would have had a pair of scissors on them to cut it free.
