cheers guys hopefully will be lol just kinda strapped for cash at the moment got piad off 2 months ago which was ****e so just plodding along as best a can as im in the middle of building a mk1 astra as well but would rather eep doing the nova as it my daily driver as well lol well when the carb not bein a pian in the backside lol. thank god a can do the mechanical,body, and piant work my self or ad be in mega dept lol

yep 3dr hatch matey in a light mettalic blue colour cant mind the name tho lol its an e reg matey so far av got sr bumpers straight through exuast and pianted a gsi stripe on the back does have a tacky set of alloys defo not my taste the sr steelies or gsi wheels would set it of a bit got side skirts too just not fitted going to piant bumpers skirts oan spoiler glass black and see how they look but not sure any ideas would be really apreciated lol

hey eh there just 15 inch wheels they were on it when a got it lol just not quite my taste lol trying to find a set of cheap gsi wheels and some sort of better carb as the pierburgh on mine givin me jip then get my side skirts done which is next on the to do list lol

cavalier gsi wheels seem to cost 100 quid with tyres for cheap ones all tho i may be wrong

just thought ad stick sum more pics up not much to report lately replaced handbrake cables and fitted 2ltr 256mm discs with pads and 2 ltr calipers too so brakes are alot better than the standard option lol

hey carb is fine thanks just could really benifit from a proper air pan tho as the k&n bolt on filter and winter dont go together lol did i get the carb from you on ebay?

I remember years ago when my now stepdad had a mk1, getting in and being uder impressed by the dash board, we were used to a chevette up until then. Was also the first car I was treated to a handbrake turn in too.

yeah sorry about the pics bein around the wrong way when a get more in the rebuild process il get the rotated lol just not very good at computers lol
thats the stage ive got the astra in just new so far its been fully stripped well 95% ive welded in a new rear bottom corner arch sill sections in A piller on the driver side the new front panel now im in the process of fitting a n/s inner wing and will do the sill arch and bottom corner on the n/s as well then il get it painted inside and out and refit everything apart from the engine with gte stuff just need to suffer the 1200 ohv till a get more money for another engine, box etc thank god a do all the work my self or id be in mega dept pmsl

yeah i think the dash etc is mint lol even like the ones in the mk1 nova sorry if i sound sad lol but i think when you have been in and around in these cars you never forget them loads of character about them yeah the old chevettes were comical shame the rot so much still some nice ones out there tho

hey all just a small update as im getting some work done to the car before the meet on the 1st of feb the 2 sides of the car to get pianted which il put up pics in the progress as it gets dun so far today got my sideskirts primed today as they had already been pianted siver when i got them lol and the last owner must have held them on with srews all the way along lol but heres the pics of them now

thanks mate yeah its alot better looking now since the 2 sides been done also the bumpers and grill side skirts were fitted as well as arch lips kind knackerd but skirts are hidin them the now once my mk1 astra finished the nova is coming off the road for a full strip down me thinks lol

thanks its really apriciated mate :thumb: yeah i like them ones my self lol and like the ploughs as well but hard to get a cheap one i managed to get the sr front and back bumper for £50 which i thought wasnt to bad il try and get the name of the colour for you tomorow mate just been busy with a few things lol

hey all not updated this for a while. have been working on it lately but just been stuff like down grading brake size new discs pads flexi pipes and the odd brake pipe as well plus got some gsi wheels from nacho mcnova (andy) for it so ive gave it a wash and tidy and thought id put some recent pics up for anybody it may intrest. thanks for looking!
