Just been out in the Tigra, everything seems to be ok, just got the geometry to do tomorrow, change the alternator and remove or modify the steering rack brace as it fouls on the gear linkage.

Its some transformation to what it was when we collected it !

Ready to go ! started on the car again at 9 this morning, tracking and camber now sorted along with all the other smaller issues :)

The chip we ordered about a month ago turned up this morning too, I went to fit to to find the ecu was already chipped LOL, £100 engine and it came with a chipped ecu and a set of non reprofiled piper cams :) bargain !
I'm not totally convinced about the chip though but we'll have to see how the first session goes or I'll stick the old one back in it.

Yes ofcourse we have Olly, with a 1.4 fuel pump and no money to buy gas I can guarantee it has no more than normalish xe power, infact we don't even know if it has that as we haven't been out on the road with it.

Thanks for the kind votes, I suspect a few of you thought we had something up our sleeves but we genuinelly didn't, getting the car done in time and it handling a whole days worth of abuse (with a few problems) was plenty good enough for us.

There was one moment when we overtook the Corsa in the dry and I thought we had found some extra power, I later found out it was only a small block lol

We took on most of the non vauxhalls but I'm happy to admit we were possibly the slowest (yet most stylish) Vauxhall there
