hi people, as some of you know im into computers n websites n stuff,

Well,

i have now brought two motherboards with CPU's and ram from a company local to me,

however, none of them have worked,

now, i have been working in and out of computers for years now, and never shorted a board out, but they think i have, the boards had no life what so ever, i personally thhinnk they were faulty but they say no way?

What do you people think i should do?

are replacements in order?

Take them back, they'll at least have a manufacturer's warranty on them.

It's a bit like buying an electrical part from vauxhall where the won't exchange/refund it if it's turns out to be faulty.

got 8 mate, all tested and working, as i run a computer repairs service, but i went to this store to get a board for a customer,

Now theyre telling me theyve lost my tower!!!

its a computer recycling shop.. they say all their items are covered by garauntee, but ONLY if they fit them... WTF

i often expect to buy something and if its faulty, i get to take it back.
if you bought a jumper with a masive hole in it, you wouldnt take it etc would ya. just talk stern to them and bust a cap in their ****, tell them you have been running a VERY sucessful business for X amount of years and that you are not a retart and that you will get trading standards involved. im sure they will sort things then and if they dont, go by your word and get TS involved.

It appears that you don't have a case but rather mobo's, ram & CPU's. boom boom!!
