well this will be a pretty breif thread because i havnt took lots of pictures etc. but here goes, the love 4 novas started when i brought a red 1.4 sr after having fun with the little engine i wanted something with more power:D but under closer inspection the shell was a absolute rust bucket.
so this time last year i went down the lazy and cheaper route and found this on pistonheads.com.

the chap who built it spent a few quid on it and its a mint shell. i know that your all going to hate the spoiler and kit lol but its grown on me now, dont think im a max power body kit lover because im not, i still love standerd novas aswell!

after having a weeks worth of fun in it i orderd a 6 point OMP roll cage, striped out the back and had it fitted at jnc.

then after abit the engine was over fueling and valve stem seals where knackerd n it was an old engine i brought another engine with lower miles on it because i didn't fancy rebuilding it. i also brought a f18 box with lsd. so i sold it on and gave my new engine a bit of a service and changed the cam belt, water pump etc and fitted the new cams.

but with wanting to do it my self... i did! and f***ed the timing up! was the slightest bit out, i drove it home n just as i got on to my drive BOOM it dropped a valve :(

so after hating myself for a day i thought i might aswell go all the way.. and started looking for a c20let and came across this on the ebay.

got it pretty cheap, came with f28 box, courtney high tourqe cams, hybrid turbo, and chips, new valve stem seals and all new gaskets with receipts to prove. its now being put in my nova.. i also brought a big frount mount intercooler, paddle clutch, cosworth injectors, rs500 ajustable fuel pressure regulator, twin piston dump valve, competition engine mounts, avo coilovers. it will also be running 3" boost pipes.

will be updating this weekend, going to take a few more pics of parts etc

i saw this car for sale on e-bay a few times, it looked fairly tidy, not a fan on the spoiler at all tho, pity about the other engine you put in there, when you put a belt on or anything that affects the timing always turn the engine over by hand with a rachet to ensure theres no tight spots and the timings alright. Best of luck with the new engine, take your time and it'll all be sound.
