Christian (ernie) and Chris Shipton (Chris gsi), (many times at PVG Region 14 meets laughing at loose cambelts and dodgy modifications. Two very good dependable friends)

Dan (developed an accidental friendship and ended up starting the beginnings of an idea for this club with him, would trust with my life, as well as happily have a blazing row, call him a tosser, and know that it would be water under the bridge the next day. If your going to get into an enterprise with someone, this is ESSENTIAL in my opinion.)

Dave Marshall helped me a lot in my early days of Novaism, and has recently started getting the bug back. Need to drag his sorry ass on here more though lol

raymond - again, first saw him with paul. we didnt get on much but now iv grown up and hes sound enough

thedjse - he stalked me at a small local meet, i thought he was gay. turns out he wasnt and was just wanting to learn about novas Lol, very friendly and good to meet.
novalad - came upto my unit late one night and stole my unpainted gsi bumper :(
riggy - went to pick up his old shell, he didnt have a clue who i was at first and was very surprised when he found out
RJM25R - bought a few bits off him one night, was such a good seller i went a few weeks later and bought a rear cage aswell

OK, bit of a difficult one, as with the rest of you guys, I don't want to offend by missing people out. So the people I've met first... *deep breath* lol

Lee - lovely guy, first time I met him was at Combe (i think) made me feel very welcome into the group despite being new onto the scene :thumb:

Dan - been in contact with Dan for years now, dating back to 2002 iirc in the MIG days but never actually met him, met him for the first time at PV2007 (I believe) alot bolder, and musclier then I expected :D

Dar - my pocket sized farmer speaking friend, very friendly, chatted alot over MSN before we met, cost me alot of money along with Lee whilst chatting to them both lol - both will do anything to help someone out.

Controversial one here...

Ernie - first actual dealings with this bloke wasn't great, he had a go at me despite not knowing me at Combe Spring 07. I was taking pics of Lees car for him (shock horror) and obviously Christian (Ernie) was in a rush, or needed to get somewhere, and was very short tempered :eek: But now I love him, Carla and Splitty dearly :D

Stuart - another one similar to Dan (not physical looks, as he's neither bold, or muscley) but I've had "internet relatings providings" with him since the MIG days, I believe he thought I was a twunt along with most, but first time I ever met him, was at VS rolling road day, after 20 minutes of chatting to him, I asked if he was gay, completely outright, he said "no, only on a keyboard", second time I met him was Combe Spring 07, he gave me a hug as the first thing he did! *close your eyes, it's just the same dear boy*

smcgsi16v (Stu, Stuart, male, not female) - always thought he was female because in all the "post a pic of your car thread" he would only ever post the single pic of his misses driving the damn car, so I always presumed he was blond, slim and busty... then I met him, I was so upset :(

Adam - by the number of his post count, I presumed he wouldn't stop talking, certainly the opposite, very quiet but a sound lad.

Burgo - met him for the first time whilst buying my rollcage off him that he bought from Chris_16v I believe (Yorkshire Chris, burnt orange Nova), a bit like Adam, quiet in real life, long flowing lochs of hair, quite handsome looking.

CountVauxAlot - sound bloke, always thought he was black for some reason, until I met him (obviously) wouldn't have been a problem if he was like, just really threw me when he turned up and I was a bit :confused: lol Another proper grafter, do anything to help anyone, including stopping at mine until 3am in the morning helping me out then driving home (i really wanted him to share our bed :( but he insisted), I took him out in the Nova the first time we met, I touched his leg, and squeezed his knee, we shared some laughs, and we lied on the cold garage floor looking up talking for hours lol

novaian – nice guy, willing to help anyone out whenever they need it, met for the first time when he came to buy some bits from me airbox for some throttlebodies I believe, since then been good mates!

Lynz - she has nice boo-bars so I like her too

They're the more funny 'how we met' stories lol But I've not met as many people as I want to, I never can, being so socialable I want to meet as many people as possible really...

PV08 - engine blew Saturday, so arrived 1.00pm Sunday when everyone was bored stiff

Rolling road day - Arrived late thinking it was an all-day thing and they finished 45min before we arrived lol

I really really have enjoyed meeting everyone Ive met from off here, met allot of people who i class as friends/mates not just people i know, everyone's willing to help and lend advise in no other way Ive found in my normal life so far, it's a shame that most "normal" people can't learn or experience some of this real true kindness we share among the members of this club in there everyday life's

OK, bit of a difficult one, as with the rest of you guys, I don't want to offend by missing people out. So the people I've met first... *deep breath* lol

Lee - lovely guy, first time I met him was at Combe (i think) made me feel very welcome into the group despite being new onto the scene :thumb:

Dan - been in contact with Dan for years now, dating back to 2002 iirc in the MIG days but never actually met him, met him for the first time at PV2007 (I believe) alot bolder, and musclier then I expected :D

Dar - my pocket sized farmer speaking friend, very friendly, chatted alot over MSN before we met, cost me alot of money along with Lee whilst chatting to them both lol - both will do anything to help someone out.

Controversial one here...

Ernie - first actual dealings with this bloke wasn't great, he had a go at me despite not knowing me at Combe Spring 07. I was taking pics of Lees car for him (shock horror) and obviously Christian (Ernie) was in a rush, or needed to get somewhere, and was very short tempered :eek: But now I love him, Carla and Splitty dearly :D

Stuart - another one similar to Dan (not physical looks, as he's neither bold, or muscley) but I've had "internet relatings providings" with him since the MIG days, I believe he thought I was a twunt along with most, but first time I ever met him, was at VS rolling road day, after 20 minutes of chatting to him, I asked if he was gay, completely outright, he said "no, only on a keyboard", second time I met him was Combe Spring 07, he gave me a hug as the first thing he did! *close your eyes, it's just the same dear boy*

smcgsi16v (Stu, Stuart, male, not female) - always thought he was female because in all the "post a pic of your car thread" he would only ever post the single pic of his misses driving the damn car, so I always presumed he was blond, slim and busty... then I met him, I was so upset

Adam - by the number of his post count, I presumed he wouldn't stop talking, certainly the opposite, very quiet but a sound lad.

Burgo - met him for the first time whilst buying my rollcage off him that he bought from Chris_16v I believe (Yorkshire Chris, burnt orange Nova), a bit like Adam, quiet in real life, long flowing lochs of hair, quite handsome looking.

That was not aimed at you in any way fella.
It was more aimed at Lee to get his ar5e in gear as i had to get his car home to his barn then get back to combe get my car loaded up then back home and get it pushed into the lockup as it wouldnt start.

I've met absolutely hundreds of people over the years!

First person I met that's on the Nova scene is Rob with the Spider as he lives local to me, we first spoke in about '93/'94 on the CB when we were Schoolies. Then met in '96 in a random meeting (we both had 50cc motorbikes on provisionals lol) not realising that we knew each other straight away.
Met Ste Sanders(another local) in about '97 when he was the envy of the town for owning a modded K reg Nova.

This thread has made me think:

I created Novaload in about '98 with a very simple message board which kicked off instantly with loads of regulars, there are a few that stick out as being around from the very beginning; Ian, Fester, Elgan, Micky Owens and loads of others who aren't about now.

From then on it just grew and grew to what it is now. We wouldn't be where we are without the dedication of all the admin, forum moderators and of course all the members. The formation of the club in the last 18ish months has been a lot of work and there have been key players in that who deserve a lot of hugs lol

thedjse - he stalked me at a small local meet, i thought he was gay. turns out he wasnt and was just wanting to learn about novas Lol, very friendly and good to meet.
novalad - came upto my unit late one night and stole my unpainted gsi bumper :(
riggy - went to pick up his old shell, he didnt have a clue who i was at first and was very surprised when he found out
RJM25R - bought a few bits off him one night, was such a good seller i went a few weeks later and bought a rear cage aswell
some guy from leeds selling some cesaros
another guy from keighley area who bought my seats
and another guy who bought my cage for the corsa
and iv probably met all of the CS lot on here at the old national meet or wherever

happy days :)

since then iv met:

a guy called jay from wrexham - i felt sorry for him as i took ALL of his nova bits that he obviously spent so much time on for next to nothing
